
This Berry Smoothie has only 3 ingredients, and is such a nice refreshing energy-boosting drink on a hot summer day.
Equipment
- 1 blender
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 2 cups frozen mixed berries
- 2 cups organic coconut water
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients.
- Sprinkle with hemp seed, walnuts, and a piece of dark chocolate.
Notes
Make sure to add some hemp hearts, flax seeds or chia seeds for extra protein and fat. I also like adding some chopped walnuts! These are the brands that I personally prefer:
The absolute best blender is Vitamix E310 Explorian – this is the one I have, but if you’d like a bigger one, go for Vitamix Ascent!
Coconut water shouldn’t have any added sugar or anything else. It literally has just 1 ingredient – coconut water! 🙂 You can find pure organic coconut water at your local Whole Foods. I found really cheap organic coconut water at Marshalls! 🙂 Otherwise, just use filtered water.
